Arrival chime
The chime on arrival tells the direction of the car, as on real hall lanterns.
When the car arrives at a floor, a gong sounds at the floor's elevator contact, like on real elevators:
| Chime | Meaning |
|---|---|
| one tone (high) | the car will go up |
| two tones (high, then low) | the car will go down |
The direction is the one the car will continue in after this stop. Together with a Hall Lantern waiting passengers know at once whether the car is theirs.
Switching it off
- for all elevators:
"arrivalChime": falseinconfig/createmanagedelevators.json, - for one elevator: untick Chime on arrival in the Settings tab of its terminal window.

The call buttons give a short click when pressed. That click is not the arrival chime and cannot be switched off.
