Signals tab
The Signals tab lists the equipment along the line that the signal box can set from a distance. Select an entry on the left; its settings appear on the right.
Light signals
Every Light Signal placed in the world appears here, with its type and position. The name is given at the signal itself (with Create's wrench); from here you set its digits:
| Button | Effect |
|---|---|
| Zs 3: … | Digit of the speed indicator above the screen: no limit set, 1 to 9 (10 to 90 % of top speed) or clear limit (100 %). |
| Zs 3v: … | Digit of the advance speed indicator below the screen, or dark. |
A signal without Zs 3 and Zs 3v says so; the indicators are switched on at the signal itself. What the digits do to the trains is described under Signals.
Speed boards
Speed boards (Lf 7, Lf 2, Lf 3) can be switched on and off here, and their digit changed: at most digit × 10 % of top speed. A board applies to trains that have it on their right.
Switching signals
Switching signal signs (Zs and Sh) have three modes:
| Mode | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Automatic | Switches with its signal or the substitute signal. |
| On | Switched on by hand. |
| Off | Switched off by hand. |
"Automatic" releases the signal again after it was set by hand. Change lettering gives a sign a new lettering. A shunting signal held at Sh 1 by an active route stays there whatever the mode says.
