Stall alarm
Find trains that are stuck on the open line - the chat message for dispatchers and the Stall Alarm block with redstone output.
Sometimes a train simply stops: a signal that never clears, a train ahead that does not move, a broken piece of track. The mod notices it for you.
When a train counts as stalled
A train counts as stalled once it has stood on the open line for more than 60 seconds, although it wants to run. Trains standing at a station do not count.
Everybody with the permission to manage the railway then gets a chat message:
Disruption: train has been standing on the line for n s at x / z
As far as CRN knows it, the message adds the cause ("– cause: …") and the train it waits behind ("– waiting behind …").
Stall Alarm block
The Stall Alarm is a small box with a lamp on top.
- It lights up and emits a redstone signal while a stalled train stands within 128 blocks (measured horizontally).
- A right click lists these trains with how long they have been standing and where: "train has been standing for n s at x / z". Without any it says "No stalled train within 128 blocks".
Put a Stall Alarm in your signal box and wire it to a bell or a lamp on the control desk. Several alarms along a long
line tell you at once in which part the trouble is.
To get a stalled train moving, look at it on the track map: a
signal locked by mistake, a held train ahead, or an occupied section. With the train radio the driver can also report
the disruption, see Train radio.
